How we make money
Avro Trade is free for tradespeople to use. Here’s how we plan to pay for it, and the rules we hold ourselves to so you can trust what you see.
Where the money comes from
- Commission and referral fees. Some merchants pay us when you click through or buy from them, directly or through affiliate networks. It costs you nothing extra: you pay the merchant’s normal price.
- Labelled advertising. Merchants and manufacturers may pay for sponsored placements.
- Optional paid features in future, such as tools for firms and teams. The core comparison stays free.
Our rules
- Your choice sets the order. Results are ranked by what you pick, such as cheapest, fastest or nearest. Whether a merchant pays us, or how much, never changes that order.
- Ads are always labelled as sponsored and kept separate from your results.
- We don’t hide merchants that don’t pay us. Where we have reliable data for them, they appear in the comparison like everyone else.
- We don’t sell your personal details to merchants or anyone else.
Coverage
We don’t cover every merchant or every product, and coverage will grow over time. Where a merchant isn’t listed, it may still have a better offer.
